MY REVIEW:

This was the second novel I have read by Alex Sinclair and I was not disappointed. Sinclair has a wonderful way of writing that keeps the reader’s interest and has you hooked from the very first page!

Three words to describe Tell Me No Lies – Betrayal, Lies and Deception! This book was amazing and oh the lies! There were lies, lies and more lies! The sweet man Grace thought she was married to turned out to have so many shocking secrets and hidden truths it is hard to believe what is real and what is imagined.

The story is told in alternating timelines. Some chapters are written in the present and some chapters are written 6 weeks ago on the night of their 5th Wedding Anniversary.

Do we ever truly know the person we are in love with? Can we always believe everything we see and are told? This book will have you sitting on the edge of your seat as you read along. A gripping psychological thriller that will leave you gasping and open mouthed as you read along.

I felt sorry for Grace and all the turmoil she goes through after the death of her husband John. She struggles with her mental health and dealing with his sudden loss of his life. She finds it difficult to carry on with her routine day to day tasks and struggles with telling the difference between reality and her imagination. Is Grace going crazy or is someone playing mind games with her? She really does not know!

I felt so bad for Grace and reading about her struggles. She is clearly going through a very difficult time and it was nice to read about how her good friend Jennifer was there for her in so many ways and helping her through her grieving process.

I enjoyed the many twists and turns in this book. There were several moments in the book where I was shocked with what I was learning and reading and many things I did not see coming at all. And the ending! Oh so very good!

All the stars for this book! If you haven’t read this book yet be sure to add it to your TBR list. You will be glad you did!
